Verify Your Paypal Account Before It Gets Frozen!
|
Paypal Is Great Paypal is a great way to sell products online. They have many easy tutorials that walk you through creating your own custom buttons. Even though I release most of my products onto Clickbank (to take advantage of their affiliate platform), I still use Clickbank for testing purposes. But there are drawbacks if you don't know what you're doing. Reaching A Limit There is a basic yearly limit on the amount of funds that you can receive in one year. I forget the exact amount but it is somewhere around the $2,000 mark. Just as I was starting to get good at selling products, I reached this limit and with little or no warning, my account was frozen. This is normal because Paypal have to fulfil their KYC (know your customer) regulatory requirements when someone starts to shift a decent amount of money. Basically, it entailed waiting around two weeks for a physical letter from Paypal to arrive at my home address, whereupon I could then enter a code to prove that my address was real. Do It Now! If you're serious about making products to earn a living online then you need to sort out your Paypal account before it's too late and you're stuck for two weeks like I was. I had to run around and find alternate payment processors and I definitely lost some sales because of it, around $200 or so. So if you haven't already confirmed your address with Paypal then do it right now! |
