    What Is A Pre-Sell?

    A pre-sell is a way of warming up your prospect and getting them interested before they even hit the sales page. This is important whether you are the product owner or the affiliate.

    By warming them up, you make them more likely to eventually buy and everyone makes more money due to increased sales.

    How To Do It?

    There are a number of ways to achieve this.

    One is by running an email list. Whenever you want to sell something to your subscribers you should always summarise the benefits before linking to the sales page.

    Even more common is a landing page. This is a single page again listing benefits and "calling the user to action" i.e. encouraging them to find out more by clicking the link.

    Implications For Publishers

    Your affiliates know the power of the pre-sell and it is your responsibility to give them the tools that they need. This means creating a variety of email ads, graphics, landing pages and more.
